- Give amateurism a chance as the web offers many platforms and amateur artistes have more chance to get known.
- Give the opportunity to artist to be more closer to their fan
- There is more participation in terms of sharing from peers
- No more boundaries on the online platforms
2. Do current laws adequately address the affordances of digital media (ie do they account for what web media can actually do compared to analog media forms 20 years ago)?
The webs platform has be designed to be a platform of sharing and participation and networks are almost impossible to monitor.
3. Is radio a dying form in the face of iPods, iPhones and a million other devices capable of playing personalised musical playlists?
Radio is described as the old medium to listen to music, programs or news. However we are aware that radio is not only dying in the face of ipods or iphones but can avoid advertising, the customer have the choice to listen to what he wants , there is the notion of time shifting as well as all the advantages that the radio provides.
However, radio is evolving and is adapting to the technology. Lifespan of the radio will depend on the types a programs they will propose.
